Jason.jpgSPEAKER: Jason Jarrett – If Not Now Consulting Inc.

Jason has been working in the broad field of disaster management since waking up in a

bathtub, protected by his mattress after a hurricane blew the roof off his home in Hawaii in

September 1992. Since that time, Jason returned to education to gain a first class honours

degree in International Disaster Engineering and Management at Coventry University. Since

then he has been consulting for government agencies in the UK, blue chip and multinational

companies all over the world.

His most recent involvement as the Global Chief Advisor for Business Resilience at Rio Tinto

mining and metals saw incidents covering the 2011 Japan earthquake and the 2014/2015

ebola outbreak in Guinea for which he and his team were awarded best strategy of 2015 in

the annual BCI business continuity awards.

Whilst working with Rio Tinto, Jason emigrated with his family to live in Vancouver. Living
