Are you ready for the next HOT topic? Well, you are in luck because BCRIMA and the BC Society of Fellows have created a "Joint" Luncheon. Invite your clients, co-workers and all interested parties - this is going to be one to remember!

TOPIC: Four Twenty is Here to Stay

The federal government will be legalizing cannabis use in Canada in July 2018. There is a great deal of uncertainty as to how the whole system of cannabis sale and use will be regulated. Will it be treated like alcohol? How does that fit in with medical cannabis use? There have been some indications of increased car accidents and other claims after the legalization of pot in various jurisdictions. Will this have an impact on the insurance industry? We have two distinguished speakers to address the uncertainty and provide valuable insights into the regulations that will be in place in BC and how legal cannabis affects our businesses.
