Learn about data inventories and how they can help your organization respond to requests from customers for their data. For public sector clients and organizations that provide services through government contracts, learn about the challenges associated with navigating BC’s unique data residency requirements.

Senior Policy Analysis, Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner
Caitlin is a Senior Policy Analyst with the BC Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner. She has worked at the Commissioner's office for 10 years. Previously, she worked as a Privacy Officer for the Ministry of Justice. Caitlin has spoken extensively at different conferences and events about BC's data residency requirements for public bodies, as well as cloud computing. She provides information and reviews projects and policies developed by public sector organizations, commercial organizations, and the non-profit sector. Caitlin has a law degree and holds three certifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals
